Who I work with in Bengaluru
Salaried professionals
Working across Bengaluru's tech corridors — Whitefield, ORR, Electronic City — looking to turn a growing salary into a structured, goal-linked portfolio instead of scattered SIPs.
GCC & tech families
Dual-income households navigating RSUs, bonuses and irregular cash flow, who want one roadmap that ties investing to specific family goals.
Business owners
Founders and self-employed professionals with lumpy income, who need investing kept separate from business cash flow and reviewed on a schedule.
Who you are dealing with
- AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor, ARN-249709.
- 30+ years across banking, risk and financial services.
- Certified Financial Education Instructor (NFEC) and Certified Wealth Management Program (Advanced).
- Around ₹25 crore of client assets currently under management.
What the engagement looks like
Goal mapping
We start with your actual goals — a home, children's education, retirement — and size each one in today's rupees and in the year it falls due.
Insurance first
Before a rupee goes into equity, we check that term and health insurance are sized right, so a medical or income shock doesn't derail the roadmap.
Portfolio construction
Each goal gets its own asset mix and timeline, built from mutual funds and fixed income suited to that goal's horizon — not a generic model portfolio.
Six-monthly reviews
Portfolios are reviewed every six months so you rebalance on a schedule, instead of reacting to market headlines.
How to start
The first consultation is free, runs 30 minutes and usually happens over a video call, which suits most working professionals in Bengaluru. In-person meetings can be arranged in the city where useful.
- 1Book a free first consultation to discuss your goals and current investments.
- 2Complete KYC if you haven't already — a one-time, industry-wide process.
- 3We build your goal-linked roadmap and set up SIPs against each goal by name.
- 4Review and rebalance every six months.
Platforms used for onboarding
Depending on how your account is opened, your investments are onboarded and serviced through one of these platforms:
Nivesh
If your investments were onboarded through Nivesh, log in here to view your holdings, start or stop SIPs, add lumpsum investments and track your portfolio.
ZFunds
If your investments were onboarded through ZFunds, log in here to view your holdings, transact and download statements.
Frequently asked questions
What does a mutual fund distributor in Bengaluru actually do?
As an AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-249709), Atul helps you map your goals, choose and execute suitable mutual fund investments, and review your portfolio every six months. He is not a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser, so the engagement is built around distribution and coaching rather than fee-based advisory.
How does the fees or commission model work?
As a mutual fund distributor, Atul is compensated through the standard trail commission paid by the fund houses whose schemes are distributed — this is built into the fund's expense ratio and is not an additional charge you pay separately.
Do I need to complete KYC before investing?
Yes. Mutual fund KYC is a one-time, industry-wide requirement checked against your PAN. If you haven't done this yet, the new-to-investing guide linked below walks you through it.
I already have SIPs running elsewhere — can you still help?
Yes. Many clients come in with existing, scattered investments. The first step is usually to map what you hold against your actual goals, then simplify and re-align where it makes sense.
What happens in the first consultation?
It's a free conversation to understand your goals, current investments and insurance in place, and to explain how a goal-linked roadmap would work for your situation. There's no obligation to proceed after.
